In This Issue
I've finished publishing Jake and Gay's Courting Letters. Well, at least for now. (See "In Case You Missed It" links below.) There are a few more things I'd like to include, but I am taking a temporary break from writing our monthly newsletter in order to "visit the neighbors." The "door" is unlocked, so feel free to stop by any time and explore the "house" while I'm away. I'm certain there is a lot you haven't seen.
Of course, if you have a story or photo to contribute, I am more than happy to publish it. In the meantime, I'll continue to drop by every now and then with updates like this:
The 2022 Spiker Family Reunion is scheduled for Sunday, May 29. Consider joining the Early Birds who will begin arriving on Saturday. Lots of fun around the property and the campfire. The schedule remains the same.
Mike has reminded us that we really need items for the auction this year. As you know, the proceeds cover the cost of the main meal (the chickens, charcoal, marinade, etc.,) and the balance goes to fund the perpetual upkeep of the South Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. Any questions, please contact Mike or Mark.
Remember to also bring a covered-dish item, drinks, lawn chairs, and bug spray. Some will be bringing fishing gear, the "makings for S'mores," ATVs, and favorite lawn games. What are you going to bring?
